France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012
France participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The French entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by the French broadcaster France Télévisions. On 19 November 2011, France Télévisions announced its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku. Like in the previous years, France Télévisions selected their entry internally.
On 29 November 2011, France Télévisions announced that Anggun would represent France in Baku.
